Coromandel Productions

Founded in 2016 by Veeru Murugappan, Coromandel Productions is a passionate company headquartered in Singapore with a global footprint; keen on showcasing human interest, and heart warming and inspirational stories from all walks of life.
In January 2020, they became proud co-owners of Barn Media, a television production company based in the United Kingdom. There work ranges from sports features, documentaries, social impact stories and corporate videos. Some of their clientele include ICC, Infosys and the world bank group to name a few.
When working there I assisted in video production where I helped making illustrations and graphics for the video edits.
I was working with the Disability Premier League (DPL) for the England and Wales Cricket Board. Throughout the weeks the cricket matches were on the coromandel production and camera team were on sight filming, my brief was to make the graphics for the videos explaining the names and the positions of the players as well as this interviewed for the documentary. I also worked on the graphics for the documentary being shot about the award ceremony for the international cricket council, Estonia’s in particular. To do so I had to experiment with adobe after effects, after a lot of failures and frustration I managed to design the graphic that made the client happy. I experimented with motion graphics for texts as well as small illustrations I had made.
