Altered Dreams

Escaping from adulthood and regressing back into one’s childhood is a thought that crosses everyone’s minds. My childhood was surrounded by dance, ballet being the focus. Realizing how I had lost that pure joy love and passion for ballet made me want to escape back to it. I had a dream of being a ballerina as I grew up that dream slowly started to escape, through this project it was time for me to redesign, recreate and reclaim an altered chance at my dream. In your childhood you’re free, your imagination runs wild, and you can dare to dream, as you grow older those dreams turn to a harsher disappointing reality. What I wanted to escape through this project was the ambition and desire I had as a child to be extraordinary at something.
