Qissa I Sanjan
This piece is based on migration, as I come from a small religious community called the Zoroastrians who were displaced from their homes in Persia, and migrated to Sanjan, a small town in Gujarat. I wanted the feeling of migration to be universal and not only to be linked to my religion, but as a reflection of the refugee crisis right now, so I used different skin tones, footwear, and tattoos to depict that migration is a global phenomenon, and affects all of us.
