Madrid Travel Guide

This was a project conducted by my university in partnership with Wonderbly. They give us an opportunity to work with real companies on live briefs and give us a peek into what being a designer entails and the importance of the client’s needs. Wonderbly is a company that designed personalized children’s books. Our brief entailed us to design a personalized book under a topic of our choice if Wonderbly were to branch out and decide to do something other than children’s books. Our group chose travel, as that is something that resounded with all of us. We made a personalized travel guide that could be gifted to someone, we imagined that the project would be partnered with Culture trip, an online travel guide service where the information for the book would be sourced and London based illustrator Claire Rollet’s illustrations. Our book wasn’t just any ordinary travel guide with so much information you got drowned in it, each page was designed by the person gifting the book in accordance with what his giftee would like. The books design included free pages for drawing writing notes and sticking photographs so that once the books use as a travel guide was over it could be used to look back at fond memories and share them with friends and family.
